Biography

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our only Son, Tyson Brown, near the town of Sundre AB on October 6,2023 at the age of 31.
Tyson was born on November 2nd,1991 in Sundre AB. He grew up on our acreage outside of Carstairs Ab.and graduated from Hugh Sutherland School in 2009. He loved the time and freedom on our little piece of paradise and helped build most of the buildings out here, even when he was only 6 or 8 yrs old. He always wanted to help, He loved working and hanging out with his Dad and Grandpa Jim.
Tyson was a happy and well adjusted young man that loved family, friends, his pets and his vehicles. He grew up in the autobody shop and loved customizing anything and everything he owned, which was usually a different one every few months. It was his solace,I think. He was always there to lend a hand, helpful and thoughtful, he was always there when we needed him, no questions asked.
Tyson loved the outdoors and just hanging out and spending time by the river. He believed it gave him the inner peace he so desperately needed. So many great camping trips with his friends when he was younger. Fishing, quading and horseback riding at YaHaTinda. It was some of the best times of our lives. Tyson tried the oil patch for a while, moving on to surveying and then finally finding a career as a trucker. He loved driving and was very good at it. I think he could back up a b-train in his sleep.
Tyson also loved his animals, especially his kitties, as we would sneak them into hotels in Banff and bring them on camping trips. He would do anything for those little guys and they returned his love ten fold.
We have so many great memories together and will forever cherish our short time we had with him in our lives. He meant the world to us and will forever be loved and remembered in our hearts and souls. He had many family and friends that loved him dearly, without judgement, yet he couldn’t see the light and love that surrounded him. Even with all that, he had a very hard time loving and respecting himself. It was heartbreaking to witness.
Tyson fell victim to the evils of our modern society and lived with sorrow and regret, heartache, depression and addiction which eventually led to confusion, extreme anxiety, prescription drugs and mental illness.
This is an epidemic facing our society today like no other time in history. We implore people to speak out, address and talk about this issue. Mental illness is destroying our modern society and must be brought to the forefront of humanity for the sake of our future generations and especially our children.
Tyson’s untimely death was a result of suicide surrounded by tragic circumstances of which details are being withheld due to the respect of others involved, to whom we send our deepest and most sincere condolences.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Tyson is survived by his Mom and Dad, Kelly and Wes, Grandma Carol, Grandparents Bill and Marion, Aunts and Uncles Aaron and Tammy, Brad and Val, Rob,Tracey. Cousins Shelby, Zane, Maclean, Alia, Ilana, Eyrica, Celeste and Ally. Also by many childhood friends that loved him dearly. Pre deceased by his Grandma Claudia, Grandpa Jim and Grandpa Morley.

Thank you for your support and understanding surrounding this heartbreaking situation and to all those who reached out in our time of grief, We are eternally grateful.
May you rest in peace our dearest Son, until we meet again. Know you are forever in our hearts.
All our love, Mom and Dad. ❤️
