Tom MacCallum

Dec 22nd 1970 — Jul 11th 2023 (52 years)

In loving memory of our favorite guy, Thomas James William MacCallum, who passed away at 4:24 PM on July 11th, 2023. He was a man of immense strength, boundless compassion, and extraordinary leadership. Tom was known for his infectious humor, his unwavering love, and his deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the profound impact he had on all those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

Tom had a passion for all things athletic that was only surpassed by his dedication to coaching and teaching. He selflessly shared his knowledge and skills with countless young students and athletes, leaving an incredible mark on their lives. As a coach and teacher, Tom nurtured their talents and instilled in them the values of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. His full belief in their potential inspired them to push beyond their limits and strive for greatness.

Beyond his achievements on the field and in the classroom, Tom was a loving husband to his wife, Marnie, and a devoted father to his four beautiful daughters: Callie, Tayler, Rylee, and Tatum. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent in their presence. Tom had a unique ability to make each member of his family feel seen, heard, and truly loved. His gentle guidance, wise counsel, and relentless support were instrumental in shaping their lives.

Tom’s kind-heartedness extended beyond his immediate family to include his beloved mother Sharon, his father Tom Sr, his sisters Tami (Julian) and Heather (Kevin), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, his father-in-law Lorne, his mother-in-law Shirley, and his sister-in-law Margo (Corey). He treasured each relationship and cherished the bond they shared.

The loss of Tom leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. The world has lost a bright light, but the memories we carry within our hearts will forever keep his spirit alive. Let us remember him not only for his accomplishments but also for the love, joy, and laughter he brought into our lives.

As we bid farewell to Tom on this somber day, may we find solace in the love we shared, the lessons we learned, and the legacy he leaves behind. He will forever remain in our hearts, a shining example of strength, compassion, leadership, and the power of love.

We hope your coolers full, the fish are bitin’ and your teams winning!
His life will be celebrated at the Balgonie Stardome on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to KidSport Saskatchewan via
