McGregor, Suzanne Marie Huguette, 'Sue' (Lesieur), of Smiths Falls, Ontario, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. She was born October 7, 1950. Sue was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Bruce, and baby grandson Austin Palermo. She is survived by her much loved sons: her oldest son, Tony Palermo and his children and granddaughter with Vicki Christensen, Amber-Lee, Brianna (Cole Smith), Charlie, Dakota, Boston and Addison Palermo, and his son with Kerri Edwards, Quinn; and her youngest son, Don (Jaime Lee) McGregor.
 
Sue will be greatly missed by her sisters Claudette (Mark) Lesieur Phillips, Linda (Stephen) O’Shea, and her dear friend and fiancé Rick Kirkwood, plus brother-in-laws Jerry (Jean) McGregor, Don (Cathy) McGregor and sister-in-laws Joanna Ricard and Sheryn Sauvé, along with many nieces and nephews.
 
Sue was much loved by her family and friends. She is remembered as always having a smile, as a bubbly, happy person, spreading kindness, love and blessings wherever she went. At Sue's request, there will be no services. Following cremation, a private interment will take place at Capital Memorial Gardens in Ottawa at a later date.
