It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Daughter, Sister, and Auntie Shannon on Saturday, September 30th, 2023. Shannon is cherished and survived by her parents Allan and Shelly (Achter) Carton, and her loving family, Celynne Swenson and Rob, Amy (Carton) and Wendell Ross, Stacy (Carton) and Mike Routledge. Shannon had 5 adoring nieces she loved to dote on, who will greatly miss her, Taylor, Hope, Mac (MacKinley), Willow and Elspeth and her great niece Kalliope. Shannon was well loved by her godparents Jason and Vicky and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She will also be missed by her beloved fur baby, Stormy Lewellyn.

Shannon lived life passionately and with her whole heart. She built a huge community of chosen family and anyone who was lucky enough to be call friend, knew her generous spirit. Shannon was an animal lover, always rescuing lost creatures and finding them loving homes, often in her own home. She will be joining her many cherished companions in heaven including Max, Teddy, Shaya, Titus and Star. We know you are having fun playing cards with Grandma and Papa, having tea with Nanny, cheering on the Riders with Uncles Doug and Dale, and sharing a drink with many recent friends who have also been lost.

The family invites anyone who knew Shannon to put on their dancing shoes and share their memories at a Celebration of Life Sunday, October 8th at Regina Brewing Inc. from 2pm-4pm at 102-1377 Hamilton Street, Regina, SK.

In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate in Shannon's memory to the Regina Sexual Assault Centre.
