Biography

PHYLLIS. J. WILLIAMS
(PJW) (née Williams)

                 our  HEART

Phyllis, Phyll, Mrs. Williams, Mum, Aunt Phyllis, Auntie Phyll, Grammie, Grammie + :  wife, partner, mother, sister, sister-in-law, neighbour, friend - loved and respected by so many….

No matter which, she was/is our HEART.

Phyllis has passed on to reunite with so many who, have gone before, especially Murray, her caring husband, who together made Life a never-ending ADVENTURE for daughters:  Beverley (Paul), Valerie (Isidoro), Shirley (Gerry), Barbara (Rick). Phyllis and Murray also created wonderful memories for grandchildren: Brewster (Christine), Amberlea (Mark), Sandro (Lori), Lia (Seirge), Ocian (Josh), Dale, Lindsay, David (Natasha); great-grandchildren: Carly, Owen, Fletcher, Sienna, Loïc, Riley, Liam, Oscar.

We will all remember with smiles: loads of love, tons of laughter, many hugs and fun times together plus never-ending support for whatever the Williams girls wanted to do.

No matter what Murray (Dad) dreamt up (maybe after a bit of eye-rolling, smiles & shaking of her head), Mum was always up for it!

102 years, 10.5 months of a life so well lived and a person much loved…“We’re glad we had you.”

Heartfelt thanks to the truly amazing, caring, loving and supportive Admin and Staff of The Mahone Bay Nursing Home.  Our warmest gratitude to Deb who kept us all connected during Covid by regularly setting up the iPad for our daily Zoom with Mum and Linda (Hairdresser Extraordinaire) who was the only person allowed to touch Mum’s hair!!
Thanks to everyone for always being there for Mum.
