Perry was born and raised in west end Toronto, attending Keele St. Public School and Western Tech High School. He remained friends with many of his childhood buddies.
He completed his training as an electrician and worked in downtown Toronto at the TD Centre for many years and then Ainsworth until his retirement.
Perry was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching and playing hockey. He organized and participated in an adult men’s hockey league. He also loved playing golf, baseball and was a downhill skier. He was also a motorsport enthusiast spending many weekends at Mosport. He had a passion for cooking, photography and other finer things in life.
A private aquamation has taken place. A celebration of Perry’s life intended to bring together family, friends and former workmates will be announced at a later date. Please consider making a donation in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or Diabetes Canada.
