Pauline passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Ross, sons Paul (Tenley) and Chris (Claudia), grandchildren Grayson, Sloane, and Taylor, brother Pierre and sister Diane. She was predeceased by sister Louise and brother Andre.

Pauline was born in Quebec City and lived there into her early twenties. Moving to Toronto gave her the opportunity to learn English and set down roots for her family for the next 45 years. From High Park to Vandorf, Pauline and Ross eventually relocated to Gravenhurst to enjoy their golden years.

Pauline’s effervescent personality and ability to make fast friends made each of those moves seamless; she charmed both young and old wherever she went. Diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer, Pauline passed the way she lived, caring more about others than herself. Right to the very end she didn’t want people to fuss over her, not wishing to inconvenience anyone over her condition.

On top of doting on the ones she loved, she enjoyed watching movies and playing cards with a glass of sauvignon blanc. She remained exceptionally close to her family in Quebec, frequently returning and was the life of the party.

Pauline will forever be remembered as a thoughtful wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother and caring friend to many.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 28 at the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst.
