Patricia Ann Garrett, nee Hanway, passed away January 31, 2024 in Richmond Hill, Ontario at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband George, daughters Ruth and Karen Garrett, grandson Nicholas Nudyk, siblings and their spouses: brother Stephen (Don) Hanway and Ann, sister Irene Kennedy and Paddy, and sister Carol Bugeia and Sam and their families. Nanny will also be missed by the puppies, Gidget and Jiggs.

Patricia was born February 28, 1940 in Howth, Ireland where she grew up and became an accomplished hair dresser. Patricia was a beautiful ballroom dancer and passed the love of dance to her daughters. She moved to Toronto with her husband and eldest daughter in 1966.

Patricia was truly skilled at embroidery, producing many beautiful Irish dance dresses for her daughters. She loved music, dance, to listen to the sound of the ocean, colourful flowers and gardens, dogs, cats, knitting, Christmas time, a good laugh and a GOOD cup of coffee.

Patricia requested a private immediate family gathering and the interment will take place at the Thornbury Clarksburg Union Cemetery.

As Patricia would say, "That's that...and the bus gone" and "God Bless".
