Ken Lamb (November 14, 1935 - November 12, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Lamb, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and successful businessman. Born on November 14, 1935, in Hoselaw, Alberta, Ken led a rich and fulfilling life, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.

Ken's journey through life began on the farm where he developed his immense work ethic. Ken's life was marked by three marriages. From his first marriage to Joyce Foley, he leaves behind four beloved children – Angela (Wayne), Sharon, Loreen, and Lianne, each a testament to his dedication to family. In his second union with Marie Hansen, Ken welcomed two more cherished additions, Kendra and Craig (Melissa). His third marriage to his soulmate, Maria Corley, brought into his life Tessa (Mathieu) and Bryson (Shelley), completing the circle of love that surrounded him.

A titan in the business world, Ken achieved great success as an entrepreneur. Ken’s most significant accomplishment was the creation of a thriving real estate business. Real Estate Professionals Inc., became the second largest in Alberta, a testament to his vision, dedication, hard work, and leadership.

Ken Lamb's legacy extends far beyond his professional achievements. He was a loving grandfather to 17 grandchildren, Chris, Lyndsay, Jared, Rickie Lee, Adam, Debbie, Colby, Angela, Brooklyn, Lukas, Mackenzie, Weston, Zoelie, James, Victoria, Bradley & Asher, each of whom held a special place in his heart. In addition, he had the joy of being a great-grandfather to 5 more, Hannah, Chase, Caleb, Coen & Parker, further adding to the tapestry of his family.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his exceptionally positive attitude, and the wisdom he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the remarkable life of a man who touched the hearts of many.

Ken Lamb peacefully departed this world on November 12th, 2023, at home with his wife Maria Corley by his side, leaving behind a legacy of love, accomplishment, and enduring memories. May he rest in eternal peace.

Ken's Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 26, 2023, at the Hamptons Golf Club - 69 Hamptons Drive NW, Calgary, Alberta.
