Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 20th, 2023. Born on December 01st, 1934. Affectionately know as "Nan", always kind, gentle, gracious and loving. A very classy lady and a beautiful sole. She always had to make sure she looked her best! She was very passionate about her family. Her strength, guidance and love will be sorely missed by Cathy, Karen, and Frank. She was always there for us and her grandson Michael. She loved her monthly visits to Stoney Creek where Gord spoiled and pampered her. Joyce was very proud of her world travels (48 Countries)! She loved her pets, gardening, piano, music, theatre and reading. She surrounded herself with many dear friends.
Her life profession was a Nurse, always caring for others before herself.
We take solace in knowing she passed peacefully and willingly.

Beloved "mother" of Sue.

Cherished grandmother of Maddison (Curtis), Rachel (Steve), Jay (Sarah Jane), Michael (Elicia). Loving great grandmother of Charlee, Haylee, Tenlee, Colton, Cash, Paisley, Jason and one on the way. Predeceased by her husband Frank Geard and her parents Cecil and Kaye Henderson. She will be missed by many friends and cousins.
