It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved soul, Janie Saunders, who died in her 65th year in Peterborough on March 4, 2024
She is survived by her loving husband Robert Saunders, her daughter; Jessica (Robert) and son Patrick (predeceased) (Sandra). Dear daughter of Margaret Jean (Armand, predeceased) and Ivan Jobin (Olive) (both predeceased). Dear sister of Donald (Monique) and David (Kelly), step sisters Alandra (Del) and Lise (Ron). Loving grandmother of Weston, Marcus and Haley. In-laws John & Patricia, Sister-in-laws Margaret-Ann (Gord) and Lynn (Dave)(predeceased), and brother-in-law Mark (predeceased) (Debbie). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Janie was a pillar of strength for her family and never backed away from a challenge. She was relentless in all she took on and believed she could accomplish any task. She loved unconditionally and took care of everyone before herself without hesitation. Her family will always remember her as a “force”, the strongest person they knew! With her love and devotion she created memories that will last forever and be cherished by all she encountered.
Thank you Janie for all that you shared, we love you, we’ll miss you and you’ll forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Northbury Hotel & Conference Center, 50 Brady St, Sudbury, ON on Sunday April 7th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
