Jim is survived by: Jeannie (wife), Dorothy (mother), Joe (brother), Lisa (sister), Laura (sister), Father In-Law (Robert) and his In-Law’s (Johnny, Joanne, Gordie, Bobby, Billy, and Lisa) and many other friends, family and colleagues. Relative to the late Joe Davidson (Father), Laura Lappert (Mother In-Law) Debbie Clarkson (Sister In-Law), Gord Blackwood (Step Father).

Jim was a loving, loyal, and caring Husband/Brother/Uncle/Friend. With 25 nephews and nieces, his engaging personality will never be forgotten. He was a phenomenal role model and had a very special role in the lives of all those he met. Jim was very charismatic and had an uncanny ability to say what was needed in all situations. He enhanced any atmosphere with his signature brand of humour and contagious laugh. Jim was very compassionate and would always go the extra mile in order to help those he loved and cared for. For almost 35 years, Jim was a perfectionist who loved his work in the recording industry. In 2012, he took over Clare Burt Recording and built his new recording studio under the name Davidson Studio. He continued to provide industry leading recording services to his clients right up until his passing and would not have had it any other way. Jim was a very special person, gone too soon.
