It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald William Kavanagh on May 3, 2024 he was survived by his children, son Layton Kavanagh, daughter, Melanie Robinson (Rob ) son Shaun Kavanagh and three grandchildren Reese, Brett and Baily. Don was predeceased by his wife, Carroll Kathleen Kavanagh (Dyck) his parents Don and Muriel Kavanagh brothers Bob and Les Kavanagh and his daughter Shirley Brown. Don was born in Saskatoon September 20, 1944 he was the second oldest of seven kids, Bob, Aletta, Bill, Ray, Les and Ann. Don grew up on the family farm 12 miles west of Saskatoon . He was married in 1968 and widowed in 1980. He worked in the oilfield in his early career and also hauled logs in Alberta. Don also farmed by Leask, Saskatchewan with his son Shaun. Don enjoyed driving around visiting and having coffee with his friends. He loved going to auctions. He also enjoyed spending at the lake with his grandchildren. There will be a private ceremony at a later date.
