Carlos Barbosa, aged 75, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2024, at Trillium Health Centre. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1948, Carlos lived a life defined by dedication, love, and resilience.

Carlos proudly served in the Portuguese military, where he was stationed in Angola during his service. After fulfilling his duties, he made the brave decision to start a new life in Canada in 1975, bringing with him his strong work ethic and a deep commitment to his family.

He was married to his beloved wife, Ana Maria, for 50 years. Together, they built a loving home and raised three children, who went on to bless them with eight cherished grandchildren. Carlos was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his family was always at the center of his world.

Carlos will be remembered as a hardworking man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His love for his family, his dedication to his work, and his loyalty to his friends left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
