Biography

It is with the most overwhelming sadness that we share the passing of such an amazing human being. Brad Jason Hickey, a father, a cat dad, a son, a brother, a nephew, uncle, grandson, partner & a beloved friend to many... gone much too soon & has left a deep void in our hearts.
From the moment Brad entered the world he had the natural ability to charm the socks off you.  A huge personality, charisma that knew no bounds... he had us hooked from day one.  He was a comedian as a child... even when he did something bad, there was still an element that had us in stitches & loving him even more.  Some of his greatest hits... his recorded debut at the age of 3 singing Billy Jean & some of the classics like, You're my Inspiration... you can hear him out of breath cuz he was dancing around in circles in a diaper, with headphones on bigger than he was.
[  ] There was also his unique way of requesting money when he was outside playing & the familiar sound of dickey dee caught his ear... neck crooked back as far as anatomy would allow, with his baby sister Amanda in tow, he would bellow out to his mom from the ground floor balcony all the way up to the top floor announcing dickey dee arrival & to send down some money.  Eddie Murphy didn't even come close to Brad's exquisite performance!
Even as an adult, his charisma did not waver... he lived for his social activities but began to settle down... especially when his beautiful daughter was born. She meant everything to him & no doubt he's enjoying a  front row seat & will love watching her grow.

Bradley is predeceased by his long time girlfriend Amanda, his Nanny & Poppy on his mom's side & also his grandparents on his father's side, Uncles Gordon and Ivan.
Bearing his loss... his daughter Jordyn & her mom (Stephanie), his mother, Cindy Hickey & step father, Lloyd Carpenter... his father Andrew Hickey (Giselle).  2 sisters, Amanda & Meghan (Chad), nieces Madison, Sophia, & Lennon & nephews Damon & Levi. Also deeply affected  is Brad's Aunt Tammy, whom he shared a close relationship with.  Also, other aunts & uncles that he held dear. And of course, lots of cousins.
Last but not least, Brad was very proud to be a cat dad... he had an amazing love for his  sweet girl TiTi... she will definitely miss him too.
There will be a celebration of life, date is unknown at this point. His family needs time to figure out how to continue on without him on this earth.
